Day 1 Arrival in Bruges, bike tour approx. 22 km/14 mi
 Embarkation until 1:30 p.m. and bike tour to Aalterbrug. Overnight stay in the university town of Ghent.

Day 2 Bike tour Gent - Dendermonde,  40-50 km/25-31 mi
You’ll cycle along the Scheldt to Dendermonde with its medieval market square and beguinage. Overnight stay in St. Amands.

Day 3 Bike tour Dendermonde - Antwerpen, ca. 48-61 km/30-38 mi
You’ll cycle through typical Flemish villages until you reach the diamond city of Antwerp.

Day 4 Bike tour Krekrak Sluices - Tholen, approx. 35 km/22 mi
There’s time for a city tour of Antwerp and a short boat trip, then you’ll cycle through the Wouwse Plantage forest area to Tholen.

Arrival:

  • In Bruges your boat is moored approx. 400 m from the main station.
  • Arrival by car
    - Parking at Stationsplein, guarded car park, costs approx. EUR 3,50/day
    - Parking at the ring road, not guarded, free of charge

  • Arrival by train:
    Bruges SNCB
  • Arrival by plane:
    Airport Zaventem, by train to Brugge SNCB, (0-1 changes, duration approx. 1,5-2 h, cost: approx. EUR 20)

Personal bikes:
In principle, you can bring your own bike along. However, please note that your bike will be loaded on and off the boat twice a day along with several others and therefore slight cosmetic damage to individual bikes cannot be ruled out, which is why we do not take responsibility or liability for such damage. We recommend reserving one the excellent rental bikes we offer.

Return transfer:
Individual return journey by train from Amsterdam Centraal to Brugge SNCB, (3 changes, duration approx. 4,5 h, cost: approx. EUR 50). Alternatively you can take the Thalys from Brussels (1 change, duration approx. 3,5 h, cost: approx. EUR 90). You can find additional information regarding parking and your return transfer in your travel documents.
