Boat & Bike - Croatian Islands

In Kvarner Bay, between Istria and Dalmatia, there are a number of charming, well-known islands: Rab, Krk, Cres and more, each with its own character. Fragrant pine forests, gnarled olive trees, vineyards and the azure blue sea are your constant companions.The pace is determined by the "organic" riders; those who want to ride an e-bike are asked to be considerate. There is also the option to stay on board of the comfortable motor sailing boat MS Linda.
Our trip ‘MTB Tour in Croatia’ takes place at the same time on the MS Linda and offers the opportunity to combine different interests. One person bikes, the other cycles, but you can still spend your holiday together.

Day 1 Arrival Omišalj + crossing Rabac
Embarkation between 1 and 1:30 pm, then boat crossing to Rabac. A popular tourist destination since the 19th century, it boasts a lively beach promenade.

Day 2 Cycle tour Labin, 39km/24mi
Enjoy a magnificent view over the sea before continuing on to the rural interior. Crossing to the Venetian-influenced island of Cres.

Day 3 Cycle tour Cres - Martinšćica, 28km/17mi
The climb is rewarded with a fantastic view, and the descent takes you to Martinšćica. After lunch, crossing with a swimming break to Mali Lošinj.

Day 4 Cycle tour Lošinj, 20km/12mi
You cycle along the shore with its many bathing bays to the picturesque harbour town of Veli Lošinj with its famous Kula tower. In the evening, cross over to the island of Ilovik.

Day 5 Cycle tour Rab, 25km/16mi
Small but beautiful – that's Rab. Look forward to a varied bike tour and explore the town of Rab on a guided tour.

Day 6 Round tour Island of Krk 21km/13mi
The boat takes you to the island capital Krk, from here you cycle through vineyards and picturesque villages. Spend the evening in the old town of Krk.

Day 7 Cycle tour Island of Krk, 45km/28mi
Olive trees, stone walls, vineyards - at the end you cycle a little of the interior of the "golden island" of Krk. In the afternoon, you return to the coast to the muddy bay of Soline and from there to Omišalj. 

Day 8 Disembarking and departure
Unfortunately, after breakfast your tour "Boat & Bike - Croatian Islands" already comes to an end. Disembarkation until 9 am.

Arrival "Boat & Bike - Croatian Islands":

• Parking in Omišalj:
  Arrival at harbour at 1 pm, admission to enclosed car park (parking in Omišalj, must be booked together with the trip.), embarkation until 1:30 pm. At 2 pm boat crossing to Rabac.

• Arrival by train:
  not recommended
  Munich - Rijeka, duration approx. 10.5 h, 3 changes,
  bicycles not possible, approx. 120 € p.p.
  Rijeka-Omišalj by bus (departure from bus station),
  duration approx. 45 min, approx. 6 € p.p.

• Arrival Rijeka Airport (approx. 26 km):

Collective transfer:

• from Zagreb airport or Zagreb city center and Omišalj
• only available on embarkation and disembarkation day

Personal bikes:
In principle, you can bring your own bike along. However, please note that your bike will be loaded on and off the boat twice a day along with several others and therefore slight cosmetic damage to individual bikes cannot be ruled out, which is why we do not take responsibility or liability for such damage. We recommend reserving one the excellent rental bikes we offer.

Perfectly looked after:
During your tour, we are available between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
