Day 1 Arrival in Frankfurt
Embarkation at 4 p.m. During dinner, the ship will take you to Nierstein, the largest wine-growing community in Rheinhessen.
Day 2 Nierstein - Mannheim, approx. 60 km/37 mi
The Rhine Cycle Route takes you via the imperial city of Worms to Mannheim, where the Neckar flows into the Rhine. The imposing Baroque palace, the bustling ‘Planken’ shopping mile and the impressive water tower characterise the cityscape of the ‘city of squares’.
Day 3 Mannheim - Heidelberg, approx. 26 km/16 mi
The first stop is Ladenburg, once the retirement home of Karl Benz. Are you more tempted by a visit to the car museum or a stroll through the well-preserved historic town centre with its picturesque half-timbered houses? Heidelberg Castle greets you from afar.
Day 4 Heidelberg - Eberbach, approx. 34 km/21 mi
Castles and ruins sit on the hills, and you cycle to Eberbach on flat paths. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Staufer town as you stroll through the winding alleys and across the small squares.
Day 5 Eberbach - Bad Wimpfen, approx. 45 km/28 mi
Hornberg Castle, once owned by Götz von Berlichingen, is considered one of the most beautiful castles in the Neckar Valley. Bad Wimpfen, with its imposing Staufer Imperial Palace and picturesque half-timbered houses, takes you on a journey into the medieval past.
Day 6 Bad Wimpfen - Lauffen, 30 km/19 mi, boat trip
Gentle river valleys, steep vineyards, idyllic wine villages with wine taverns and cosy pubs accompany you on today's tour along the Neckar. A route full of nature, culture and enjoyment.
Day 7 Stuttgart-Bad Canstatt
Today, the choice is yours – would you prefer a leisurely tour along the Neckar, a visit to the State Gallery, a shopping spree on Königsstraße, a day at the thermal baths in Bad Canstatt, or a visit to Wilhelma Zoo? Enjoy your last day of holiday!
Day 8 Departure
After breakfast your tour "Boat & Bike in Swabia" concludes. Disembarkation at around 9 a.m.

Depending on capacity you can take your own bike on request. Please note, however, that your bike will be loaded twice a day with many others on and off the ship and damage can not be ruled out. A liability for this can not be assumed. We advise you to book one of the good rental bikes.
